Hearty congratulations to Scott Showalter on being named the Assistant Dean for Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs in the Penn State Eberly College of Science!

Scott previously served as Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Chemistry, where he worked to establish the Graduate Student Association and to introduce professional development opportunities into the training program.

Scott was awarded the Milton S. Eisenhower Award for Distinguished Teaching earlier this year.
