We are excited to welcome Manyu (Mandy) Du to the CEGR faculty as of February 2025.  Dr. Du studies the molecular mechanism of transcription and 3D genome organization using cutting-edge technologies including single-molecule super-resolution live-cell imaging and advanced lattice light sheet imaging.  Her postdoctoral research with Dr. Ibrahim Cisse at the Max Planck Institute of Immunology and Epigenetics in Freiburg, Germany on molecular condensate interactions with transcriptional enhancers in vivo suggested novel molecular mechanisms for how enhancers work. Dr.  Du is an alumna of the Penn State CEGR, having performed her Ph.D. research with Dr. Lu Bai.
